Policy and Terms of Service
I. Commitment to Customer:
HGS will provide the customer with chosen game server and be made responsible for hardware and operating system troubleshooting. HGS will pre-install all game server files into place wih a set of default configuration files and maps. Some non-standard maps and configuration files will be provided but are not guaranteed. HGS will not be responsible for mod compatibiliy. All game servers are guaranteed to be made available at a percentage of 99.0%. Availabiliy is subject to bugs wihin the respective game server engines. HGS will make a control panel available wih an uptime of 99.0% or better which allows customers to start, stop and restart their respective game servers. HGS will make its best efforts to ensure all recent patches are applied to new orders. Existing customers are responsible for their own server updates. Upon each restart, servers will be automatically patched.
II. System Resources:
HGS will make available a redundant Tier 1 internet connection with 100Mbits of server shared bandwidth. HGS provides unlimited bandwidth for regular server operations and provides up to 50GB of disk space for game related files and settings. HGS will provide enough CPU to run your server and all standard mods at purchased tick rates. Any CPU saturation may entitle the customer to a parial refund. HGS will provide all memory needs for servers. Servers will not support and provide unlimited memory for third pary mods.
III. In Game Hacking:
HGS will not be responsible for hackers in game and will not take aciton against them. Server administration for players will rest solely in he hands of the purchasing user. Support admins will be available for server administration help.
IV. Hacking and Malevolent Use Against the Provider and Clients:
All attempts to circumvent security in place or abuse rights to the server will have their membership terminated wihout refund. Attempts to break in to accounts of any kind will result in administrative investigation against the originnator and may result in firewall blocking. All account activiy is logged and legal action may be taken against malevolent or exploive users. HGS entrusts its clients to act responsibly and expects customers to treat the hosting system with care.
V. Obligation to Render Payment:
All iniial payments are due immidately. All subsequent payments are expected within one week of their due date. HGS reserves the rights to disable or render inactive accounts which have oustanding balances of any kind. HGS provides a seven day trial period beginning at order placement in which a full refund including paypal fees may be requested at any time. Clients are responsible for full payment of their subscription unless granted credit by the provider.
VI. Support:
HGS will provide 18 hour support from 8AM EST until 2AM EST. HGS representitives will be available on Steam, IRC and via EMail at http://support.HostedGameServers.com. A IRC portal will be made available from the HostedGameServers.com website for instant support chat. Customer is ultimately responsible for all modificaitons outside of the default system configuration. HGS allows customers the ability to opt for a total system reload witth a guaranteed working configuration but is not responsible for the data a system reload removes.
VII. Clarification:
