How do I make myself an Admin (aka “OP”) ?
To make yourself an OP, you need to stop your server and click “Login via webFTP” inside of your panel. Find the file ops.txt and choose to edit it. This file will only appear after you’ve ran your server for the first time. Add your name to the list and save.
Now, you can OP other plays by typing “/op theirname” and de-OP them by typing “/deop theirname”.
To see a complete list of OP commands, please follow this link to the Minecraft Wiki.

How do I enable white-listing in order to prevent griefing ?
To enable this, log on your server and type “/whitelist on”. You need to be an operator as explained in step one for this to work.
After you have enabled it, you can add names to it by typing “/whitelist add theirname”.
You can then remove people by typing “/whitelist remove theirname”.
To check who is currently whitelisted, you can type “/whitelist list”.
We have also made a video tutorial that covers operator status and whitelisting available here:

How do I upload a custom world?
We have put together a video tutorial that covers the two methods of uploading your world via FTP. This video is available in our forums and also has instructions for uploading a single player world. World files are too large for webFTP, so you will need to use one of the two methods in the video.

How do I install plugins?
Craftbukkit is available from a status feed on the right hand side of bukkit.org
These feed always contains the latest, recommended version at the top.
After downloading it, log into FileZilla, an FTP client and upload it to the root directory, that is, the same place where you see minecraft_server.jar. Now, make sure your server is stopped and change the “mod jar file” option in your panel from minecraft_server.jar to craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar or craftbukkit.jar, depending on the name of the jar you uploaded.
This is how the panel know which jar file to start your server with.
After you start it for the first time, a plugins folder will be generated where you add the plugin jar files. A more in-depth tutorial on adding Craftbukkit and uploading plugins is available as a video tutorial here:
