HGS hits Europe!
HostedGameServers.com is now online in Europe and Germany! No longer is HGS exclusive to North American Customers. We have space online and available in Frankfurt Germany! Migrate or buy your server at anytime at this great location.
We are officially multi-continent. This is a big day for us!
Chicago is live!
That is right it is finally up and running. You can either buy or migrate to the box if you want. The next location you should look out for is Europe. We are looking for a datacenter in Germany.

Who is going to the first ever Minecon?
If you havent heard http://minecon.mojang.com/. Its about the official release of the game minecraft at Mandalay bay in Las Vegas, NV. I’ve stayed there, very nice place. Oh how I wish I could go.
Whats been going on lately
Hello, I just wanted to post what I’ve been doing the past couple of weeks. As some of you may have noticed there is now a live support feature under the support tab in your control panel. This is in testing stages, but its working out nicely. When one of us is on, you will see online. This means we wont be on all the time. Another big feature I am testing tonight are backups. This is available to all server, it makes a backup of the hgsbackup folder(yes if finally used for something) and puts it on the server backup.hostedgameservers.com. I am running a test tonight at 3am EST to see how it all goes. Eventually what I want is to have a link in the panel and you can download the past 10 backups. Backups are daily. We are getting a new location soon, it will be Chicago, so look out for it. We are looking for Europe providers as well. One last thing I would like to mention is our progress on integrating windows to our panel. I have almost all the scripts setup, but with limited time before school I am not sure when windows will be up and running. I am aiming for the end of this month, but no guarantees.
